our stay at kertess was fantastic! the food was consistently excellent, with a great menu selection. we particularly enjoyed the lively and humorous bar staff. the location was good, being close to the slopes, but the hill can be slippery when icy. it was ideal for our large group of ten, with plenty of variety to please all ages.

moving rooms mid-week was a bit of a hassle.

A delightful dining surprise

The warm welcome in traditional Tyrolean dress set a lovely tone. The varied breakfast and exceptional five-course dinners created memorable evenings. The staff were genuinely friendly, making us feel at home.

The hotel is a bit of a hike from the slopes, which can be taxing after a long day. I noticed the shower mount needed fixing. it felt a bit awkward to handle.

a perfect base for city walks and nearby attractions

I truly enjoyed the wonderful dining experience with a mix of four to five courses every evening, and the hotel's location made it easy to stroll to the nearby Galzig Cable Car in just less than a 5-minute walk. Exploring the charming Saint Anthony of Padua Church, which is only a short 15-minute walk away. it's a great spot for anyone who loves discovering the city.

The pool was excellent, though the shower could be better mounted.

Can't recommend highly enough for a quick weekend visit

Fabulous restaurant, fabulous location, the five-course evening meals were some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere, and the hotel has its own bus stop on the free local bus route for easy access to the slopes.

The wellness area, complete with a sizable swimming pool and sauna, was a perfect way to unwind after skiing. the hotel's hillside location meant a challenging climb back after a long day on the slopes, and some room maintenance quirks, like inconsistent lighting and a shaky shower mount, could use attention. Still, the excellent dining and warm service made for a memorable stay.

Getting to the hotel can be a workout. it's perched a bit higher on the hill, which means hiking back uphill after a long day of skiing can be daunting, especially without a minibus service in the evening. The rooms have some quirks too—like showers that need a better mount, and there’s the glitch of inconsistency with room lighting and maintenance, which could use a more reliable touch. some guests voiced issues with feeling misled about being closer to the main road.

the room had a strange smell (not pleasant! ! ), but the staff were super friendly (always smiling! ). the dinners were delicious (loved the variety! ), and the cozy bar was a perfect place to unwind after skiing.
